In this project we present RNAseq data from the study cited below, in which E.coli strain BW25113 was exposed to palladium stress.

Palladium (Pd) in the form of nanoparticles has many useful applications, however they are currenly produced using toxic and energy intensive physicochemical processes. A more environmentally friendly method using bacteria to bioproduce Pd nanoparticles is hindered by the toxicity of palladium to bacterial cells, which causes general and oxidative stress responses. In this study, the authors exposed E.coli cells to palladium in the form of sodium tetrachloropalladate (II) for 10 minutes, and measured changes in gene expression using RNAseq. Here, we present their raw data (available from ArrayExpress), which was reanalysed using Galaxy.
